This year Florence and her fellow artist from Railway street studio, Helen Streefland will showcase their latest artwork in a wonderful exhibition called Shape of Colour
The Exhibition and Sale event runs over 3 days and takes place in our school hall which is completely transformed into a world class gallery for these 3 days.
The first opportunity to view over 90 emerging and well known New Zealand artists is on our opening gala night – Friday the 6th of June from 7-9.30pm. The gala night is an exclusive event for ticket holders only. Wine and canapes are served over the 2 and 1/2 hour opening night and as expected a number of highly sought after pieces of art sell on the opening night. While the tickets are limited they can be purchased, for only $40, by calling in to see the wonderful office team at Kohia Terrace School (3 Kohia Terrace, Epsom) or by phoning 09 630 4525.
The athmosphere and opportunity to mix and mingle with many of the exhibiting artists is a fantastic experience and one not to be missed. Whether you are an art lover, parent or simply a supporter of the school you are guaranteed a great night.
The Exhibition and Sale is also open over Saturday 7th, 10.30am – 5pm and Sunday 8th, 10.30am – 3pm. No ticket is required for these days, entry is free however there is a donation box because even a gold coin donation helps us towards our fundraising goal. You are welcome to bring your children on the weekend to view and purchase art works by these talented artists.
Thank you to all who visited and helped make Affair Of The Heart a resounding success!
